POLICE LOG for September 8: Driver Issued Summons, Driver Smoking Marijuana?, Landscapers Working Before 7AM

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, September 8, 2018:

  • Police notified DPW that the speed limit sign at Burlington Avenue and Roosevelt Road is obstructed by branches. (5:04am)
  • A caller on Main Street complained of landscapers working at unreasonable hour. Police spoke with Fine Land Landscapers, who agreed to wrap up job momentarily and choose a better time in the future. (6:55am)
  • A Hathaway Road caller reported her children came home from walking in the neighborhood and a notice a white Jeep operating erratically. Police were unable to locate. (5:59pm)
  • Jaqueline C. Guimarres (39, Tewksbury) was is issued summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle and Failure To Stop/Yield. Driver was pulled over at Main Street and Middlesex Avenue. (6:33pm)
  • A caller observed a female operator in the Lucci’s parking lot smoke marijuana then pulling onto 129 and driving towards Reading. Police unable to locate, but notified Reading Police. (9:02pm)
  • Two parties were observed in the backseat of a vehicle on Gandalf Way. They were advised to move along. (11:03pm)
