POLICE LOG for August 29: Fight In Gas Station Parking Lot; Trailer Stolen; Transformer Blows; Bus Stop Issues

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, August 29, 2018:

  • Police, Fire and RMLD responded to a fire alarm on Dicenso Properties on Industrial Way. A transformer blew in front of Chemgenes with flames on the ground and wires on the side of the road. (3:49am)
  • A caller requested extra patrols during early morning bus runs at Lawrence Street and Shady Lane Drive as vehicles are not stopping at stop sign near bus stop. (7:14am)
  • An employee at Four Seasons Greenery on Industrial Way reported a landscaping trailer was stolen sometime over the weekend. (10:14am)
  • Police restored the peace between two drivers having a verbal altercation on Ballardvale Street. (5:58pm)
  • Police responded to a fight in Sonny’s Mobil on the Run’s parking lot. 4 parties involved. One vehicle took off on Route 129 towards Lucci’s. Stoneham Police reported vehicle was previously called in as erratic. Police located vehicle in Lucci’s parking lot. Vehicle was towed and plates were confiscated. (8:46pm)
