WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, August 27, 2018:
- Police and Fire Departments responded to a fire alarm at Monogram Foods on Ballardvale Street. Building was evacuated due to a problem with its fryer. Fire Department to handle. (1:06am)
- State Police and Fire Department responded to a box truck fire on 93 South, just prior to Exit 37. (9:14am)
- A Marcus Road caller reported a male with grayish hair taking photos of the house across the street. He just went into the house’s backyard. Police responded and spoke with the man, who was a home appraiser. Checked OK. (9:48am)
- Animal Control Officer retrieved a skunk on Middlesex Avenue that was struck by a vehicle. Skunk was brought to Andover Animal Hospital and euthanized. (10:05am)
- A Lawrence Street resident found a large black bird injured in front of the house. Animal Control Officer retrieved the bird and contacted rehab parties in the area. (11:15am)
- State Police and Fire Department responded to a rollover at the end of Exit 40 on 93 South. One party was already out of the vehicle being treated by two nurses upon arrival. Police blocked the ramp. State Police handle the scene. (5:13pm)
