POLICE LOG for August 26: Bizarre Break-In At Winchester Family Medical Center; Homeowner Finds Strange Woman In Driveway At Midnight

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, August 26, 2018:

  • Milestone Group Home reported a juvenile went AWOL during a fire alarm activation 15 minutes ago. Police found juvenile at High School and notified Milestone to respond. (12:45am)
  • Police received a burglary alarm at Winchester Family Medical Center on Salem Street. Off-site security said two males entered the building, played around in the lobby with a wheelchair, and ran out. Parties were later located and identified by security. Police will follow up on Monday for any possible criminal activity. (12:48am)
  • A caller reported an older male on a red moped rang the doorbell asking for a “JR.” Juvenile told male party there was no one as this address by that name. Male then looked into the pickup truck in the driveway and left the area. Police were unable to locate. (3:54pm)
  • An Earles Row caller reported an unknown female was in her driveway when she pulled in. When asked what the female was doing in her driveway, the female didn’t have a rationale explanation and stated she was looking for a church. Police responded, but were unable to locate. (11:47pm)
