POLICE LOG for August 20: Drug Paraphernalia Found In Recently Purchased Car; Man Urinating In Park?; Graffiti Found

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, August 20, 2018:

  • Property manager at Metro at North Wilmington reported graffiti on the building and tunnel to the MBTA station. Police viewed 2 areas of graffiti that occurred sometime over the weekend. (11:01am)
  • A caller reported she believed an older gentleman urinated against bushes at the Yentile Farm Recreational Facility, near the bushes. Upon further questioning, caller stated that’s what she assumed the male was doing, but had no further evidence. (1:28pm)
  • A caller reported a padlock on his back basement door in missing. Police conducted walk-through of property. Police will follow-up with property management. (2:06pm)
  • A resident at CareOne at Wilmington claimed a staff member made a gesture toward him that he is not happy with. (2:26pm)
  • A caller reported he found a hypodermic needle, spoon and lighter in a vehicle he bought last week off of Craigslist in New Hampshire. Police retrieved hypodermic needle for safe disposal. (5:30pm)
  • Milestone Group Home reported juvenile has left the program. Their direction of travel is unknown. (10:41pm)

  1. Not surprised at the complaint about Care One. I am lucky I survived a week there this past winter. Luckily was sent back to the hospital to recover from my stay there.
