POLICE LOG for August 14: Police Make Arrest & Issue Summons, Street Lights Vandalized, Stuffed Animal Recovered

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, August 14, 2018:

  • A caller reported her daughter dropped her stuffed animal in the Burger King parking lot earlier and is asking for a check of the area. Police were able to locate the animal. (12:36am)
  • An employee from Reading Municipal Light Department reports malicious damage to street lights — one on Dunton Road and one on Nassau Avenue. Poles were removed and replaced by RMLD. (10:09am)
  • Police issued 25 citations and written warnings for violations of the move over law on 93 North and South. (10:23am-12:56pm)
  • A caller reported that her small pink beach cruiser bicycle had the tire valve stems vandalized while located at the bike rack in the MBTA parking lot. (11:47am)
  • Graciane Pacheco (37, Lynn) was arrested for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle and Obstructing An Emergency Vehicle. Arrest took place near 93 North Ext 39 ramp. (1:07pm)
  • A caller found an old BB gun in the basement and would like it removed. Police retrieved and brought to station for destruction. (2:58pm)
  • A car struck the light pole at the corner of Woburn Street and Lowell Street. Electric Light notified. (4:09pm)
  • Angel Audias (25, Lynn) was issued a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle and Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License (Subsequent Offense). (5:44pm)
  • An anonymous caller stated he believed a man leaving Pacific Grove was impaired. Police responded and spoke with man, who agreed to get a ride home. Police took his keys and told him to pick them up at the station in the morning. (8:35pm) Man later came to station looking for his keys. He took a Preliminary Breath Test and was denied his keys. He took an Uber home. (11:44pm)
