POLICE LOG for August 8: Tewksbury Woman Nabbed For Alleged Shoplifting At Target; Car vs. Dump Truck

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, August 8, 2018:

  • A caller reported a trash barrel and political sign were blocking traffic’s view coming from Butters Row onto Main Street. Police spoke with resident on Main Street who took barrel in and moved sign back approximately 3 feet. No longer an issue. (8:54am)
  • A car vs. dump trunk collision took place on 93 North Exit 40 Ramp. No injuries noted. (12:43pm)
  • A caller reported a female party was cleaning out her car and was blocking the entrance of the As Good As It Gets restaurant in Lowell St. parking lot. Police responded. Vehicle needed to be towed. Police gave female ride back to station to make arrangements. (3:34pm)
  • Darice C. Famolare (37, Tewksbury) was issued a summons for Larceny Under $1,200. Target called police after a shoplifting incident. Target no trespassed the individual. (5:02pm)
  • A caller reported a blonde female in a black shirt was stumbling around the 99 Restaurant parking lot. Party checked OK. Husband was picking up food and would be operating the vehicle. (7:52pm)
  • A walk-in party reported threats from a former co-worker at Screenprint Dow on Research Drive. (8:38pm)
  • A train was blocking Middlesex Avenue at North Wilmington station. (9:40pm)
  • A missing juvenile was reported from Milestone Group Home on High Street. (10:28pm)
