POLICE LOG for July 21: Underage Drinking Party?, Beer Can Thrown From Vehicle; Facebook Hack

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, July 21, 2018:

  • An anonymous caller reported possible underage drinking party on Water Street. Police responded and party disbursed. No juveniles were among the guests. Police advised homeowner of the social host liability laws. (1:32am)
  • A walk-in party reported her daughter’s Facebook page was hacked. (1:00pm)
  • Police advised party of no dog rules at Town Beach. (5:36pm)
  • Fire Department responded to a mulch fire at Market Basket. (5:38pm)
  • A caller reported a vehicle occupied by 3 or 4 males threw an open beer can onto Main Street near Citizen Bank. Vehicle was gone upon police arrival. (6:26pm)
  • A caller reported a large bon fire near a residence. Police and Fire responded to flames in a trash barrel. (9:08pm)
