POLICE LOG for July 17: Building Spray Painted; Bad Behavior At RMV; Defective Gas Pump

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, July 17, 2018:

  • Police observed suspicious behavior in the Shawsheen School parking lot. 2 parties were on foot with a flashlight. Parties were looking for a lost phone, but were unable to locate. (1:31am)
  • Employee of Energy Sciences on Industrial Way reported vandalism to the building overnight. Police confirmed building was tagged with spray paint. No cameras in area. (9:17am)
  • Police received report of a large tree branch taking down electrical wires on Falcon Road. Wires were smoking. Police notified Fire Department and RMLD. (1:25pm)
  • A walk-in reported there was a defective gas pump at the Shell station on Main Street. Pump spilled gas on her and all over the grown. She stated she told the employee, but he did not seem concerned. Fire Department will check pump. (1:40pm)
  • Police notified DPW of developing pot holes near the bridge on West Street. (2:23pm)
  • A caller reported a white male in his 20’s was very aggressive towards RMV employees and punched a window on his way out of the RMV. Police located man, who was trespassed from the registry. (3:49pm)
