POLICE LOG for July 9: Billerica Man Issued Summons; Coyote Sighting; Bike Found; More MBTA Issues

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, July 9, 2018:

  • Police issued a summons to Frederick James Gutierrez (26, Billerica) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle with a Suspended or Revoked License and No/Inspired Expiration Sticker. (1:25am)
  • A Jacques Lane caller reporting sick or injured raccoon in yard. Animal Control Officer retrieved raccoon and brought to Best Pets in Tewksbury. (7:11am)
  • A caller reported a coyote ran out in front of her vehicle on Boutwell Street. Caller was concerned coyote was out during the day. Officer advised caller coyotes are also out during the day. Animal Control Officer checked the area, but was unable to locate. (9:27am)
  • Inbound train was blocking Middlesex Avenue/Route 62 at North Wilmington station. (9:37am)
  • A walk-in party brought in a black bicycle (2013 black Shimano 29 mountain bike) found on Glen Road. (8:14pm)
  • A caller reported his ex-girlfriend is trashing his lawn outside his residence. Party left before police arrived. (9:22pm)
