Dear Wilmington,
We’d like to introduce you to your 8 & 9 year old Wilmington Wildcats baseball team playing this year in The Jimmy Fund Little League Tournament.
This year will be the 32nd season and these boys — along with thousands of others — are hoping to raise more than $250,000 for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. With Wilmington’s help, we know they can reach this goal!
The money raised goes directly to lifesaving cancer research and care at Dana-Farber. Our boys are participating in this program on behalf of the many people this terrible disease has touched — mothers and fathers, grandparents, brothers and sisters, friends, and neighbors.
They would greatly appreciate your cheers from the bleachers and your support of their fundraising efforts.
