WILMINGTON, MA — Ready for a debate? Make that two!
Wilmington Community Television (WCTV), the Lowell Sun, and the Wilmington Apple have organized debates for the State Representative candidates vying for the 19th Middlesex District seat.
The Republicans candidates — Erin Buckley and Pina Prinzivalli — will debate on Tuesday, August 21 at 7pm. The debate will be moderated by Robert Hayes of the Wilmington Apple.
The Democratic candidates — Erika Johnson, Mark Kratman, Mike McCoy, Judy O’Connell, and Dave Robertson — will debate on Wednesday, August 22 at 7pm. The debate will be moderated by Tom Zuppa of the Lowell Sun.
Debates will be held at WCTV’s Studio at 10 Waltham Street in Wilmington.
The debates will air live on WCTV’s Government Channel (Comcast 22 and Verizon 38). The debates will also stream on WCTV.org and through the WCTV App (available in Google Play Store and Apple App Store).
Wilmington Community Television is currently investigating how the debates may also air on local access television in Tewksbury.
WCTV will be releasing additional information about the debates in the coming weeks, including how residents of both towns can have a say in the questions the candidates are asked.
