WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, July 5, 2018:
- A walk-in party reported an Assault & Battery that occurred around 7am. Police issued a summons to Terry L. McKenna (67, Wilmington) for Assault & Battery. (7:14am)
- Animal Control Officer removed a deceased Calico cat from the Middlesex Avenue and Federal Street area. Cat was chipped. Cat was brought to Best Pets in Tewksbury until owner could be located. (7:56am)
- A DPW truck was involved in a minor accident with another vehicle on High Street. (11:53am)
- A caller reported a passenger window on her vehicle was broken in a Main Street parking lot. (12:39pm)
- Police notified MBTA that a train at North Wilmington station was blocking Middlesex Avenue. (1:00pm)
- A white 2007 Chevy Silverado struck a pole on West Street at Kilmarnock Street. Vehicle towed. No injuries noted. Police notified RMLD and Verizon. (4:29pm)
- Police received an accidental 911 call from a Main Street caller. Caller was teaching kids how to dial 911. Police followed up and confirmed. (8:17pm)
- Fire Department responded to a brush fire on Marion Street. (8:24pm)
- Police issued a summons to Brendan M. Keane (37, Reading) for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended Or Revoked License and Speeding. (10:27pm)
