POLICE LOG for June 29: Lost Pit Bull; Oil Spill; Good Samaritan

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, June 29, 2018:

  • The traffic lights were on flash at Main Street and Church Street. Mass Highway were notified and reset lights. (9:31am)
  • Police assisted a 2-car crash at Middlesex Avenue and Main Street. No injuries noted. (10:37am)
  • FedEx driver witness a cell phone fall out of a bicyclist’s pocket on Main Street. Party will pick phone up at station. (12:17pm)
  • Fire Department and Mass DEP responded to an oil spill on Woburn Street. (3:02pm)
  • Animal Control Officer brought a woodchuck struck by a vehicle to Best Pets Vet. (3:30pm)
  • Animal Control Officer located a lost pit bull on Stonehedge Drive and brought it to Mass Vet in Woburn. (10:39pm) A Stonehedge Drive call reported 2 cars just pulled into the neighborhood and there is a gathering in the roadway. Police responded. Parties were looking for their dog that was already found. (11:08pm)
