POLICE LOG for June 24: Unlocked Vehicles Entered Overnight, Disturbance At 99, Crash At Busy Intersection

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, June 24, 2018:

  • A 2-vehicle crash took place at Lowell Street and West Street. One driver was cited for no registration in possession and received a verbal warning for not using care when stopping/starting. Airbags deployed. No injuries noted. (10:59am)
  • Multiple unlocked vehicles were entered overnight on Bailey Road. (2:03pm)
  • A Baldwin Road resident reported a very large deceased turkey in front of her property. Animal Control Officer to pickup. (2:57pm)
  • 99’s Assistant Manager reported possibly intoxicated male in restaurant making employees uncomfortable. Police responded. Man took an Uber home. (3:39pm)
  • Town Beach closed early due to thunderstorms. (6:16pm)
  • Caller reported a black Jeep Wrangler stopped in front of residence twice and revved its engine. When homeowner came out, vehicle would take off. Police unable to locate. (11:07pm)
