POLICE LOG for June 23: Wilmington Man Arrested After Incident At Market Basket; Beer Bottles Found Outside Town Hall

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, June 23, 2018:

  • Police located some beer bottles on picnic table at Town Hall. Police discarded. (2:09am)
  • Employees reported two unwanted parties in the Speedway parking lot. Parties left voluntarily. Employee will speak to manager regarding a no trespass order. (7:58am) Parties later returned. Police responded and advised parties to leave. (10:55am)
  • A caller reported an irate customer at Triple Nickel Autobody. Caller requested checks of the business over the weekend. (2:55pm)
  • Police arrested Angelo R. Speranza (55, Wilmington) was arrested for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle and Possessing Open Container of Alcohol In A Motor Vehicle. Market Basket employee reported Speranza attempted to steal food from Market’s Kitchen. Employee were able to get food back, but man had an odor of alcohol. Man got into vehicle heading towards CVS. Police located vehicle in the parking lot of the Dollar Tree. (6:39pm)
