WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, June 8, 2018:
- A caller reported a train struck a possum on Middlesex Avenue, leaving offspring in the area. Animal Control Officer retrieved possums and brought them to animal rehab in Tewksbury. (9:43am)
- A RMV employee reported a dog locked in a vehicle in their lot. Police spoke with owner. RMV allowed dog to brought into RMV. (10:07am)
- An individual reported losing a black leather wallet with $200, possibly at Lucci’s Supermarket. (2:59pm)
- Police attempted to stop a motorcycle on Aldrich Road traveling 50 MPH. Motorcycle failed to stop, last seen heading southbound over 100 MPH in the vicinity of Main Street & Burlington Avenue. Woburn and Reading Police notified. Police unable to locate. (10:31pm)
