POLICE LOG for June 6: OUI Arrest; Arrest At Dunkin Donuts; Bullying At Skate Park; Wilmington Community Facebook Page Makes The Log

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, June 6, 2018:

  • Police was flagge down by a motorist on Route 125 reporting a small robin with a broken wing next to the road. Wilmington Wild Things and Animal Control Officer notified. (6:03am)
  • A 30-year-old Wilmington man was taken into protective custody after reports of an intoxicated man attempting to get into a vehicle at Reading Cooperative Bank on Lowell Street. (10:32am)
  • Polie spoke to a resident of the use of an airsoft gun after receiving complaints from a neighbor. (1:46pm)
  • A caller reported his son is frequently bullied at the Shawsheen Skate Park by another teenage boy. Both are residents of Billerica. Police reached out to boy’s school’s School Resource Officer. Police advised father to wait with his child at the skate park, or have his son call the police if he feels threatened. (4:02pm)
  • Susan A. Roy (48, Wilmington) was arrested for OUI Liquor (2nd Offense), Possession Of An Open Container Of Alcohol In Vehicle, and Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle. The arrest took place at Church Street and Adelaide Street. (5:57pm)
  • A caller reported his neighbor brought his dog over to urinate in caller’s yard in an attempt to provoke him. (6:17pm)
  • Paul J. Francis (29, Haverhill) was arrested on a warrant. Arrest occurred after police responded to a verbal argument at the Lowell Street Dunkin Donuts. (7:07pm)
  • A caller requested advice regarding property on Lowell Street. Party concerned with posts on social media and requested advice on a trespass order. (8:25pm)
