POLICE LOG for June 3: Uber Drive Causes Scare; Driver Fails To Stop For Police

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, June 3, 2018:

  • A Federal Street caller reported a vehicle driving slowly past her residence approximately 3 times since she pulled into her driveway, making her nervous. Police responded and located suspicious vehicle in front of high school. Operator was an Uber driver who was picking up a party on Federal Street and was having trouble finding the house. Calling party was advised of the situation. (12:36am)
  • During a check of Town Hall, two people were located, with one of them sleeping on a bench. Police escorted the female party back to her residence, where her father took custody. The male party was not welcomed at the residence and was sent on his way on his bike. (3:21am)
  • A vehicle failed to stop for Wilmington Police. Police pursued the vehicle into Andover, where driver took a right at the Massachusetts State Police barracks. (9:48pm)
  • Police received report of a male party inside the Cumberland Farms for about 30 minutes, making another customer nervous. Police responded. Different stories given. (11:16pm)
