POLICE LOG for May 29: OUI Arrest At 7:30AM; Dispatch Receives 50+ Hangups; ALICE Drills

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, May 29, 2018:

  • John H. Carroll (26, Peabody) was arrested for OUI Liquor; Negligent Operation Of Motor Vehicle; and Marked Lanes Violation. Carroll drove his white 2010 Chevy Silverado into a pole on Woburn Street. (7:39am)
  • Animal Control Officer assisted a turtle stuck in a fence on Marcia Road. (10:44am)
  • Dispatch received over 50 silent calls on the police emergency line. Dispatch contacted Verizon security to see if number could be traced. (12:04pm)
  • Police conducted an ALICE Dill at the Woburn Street School. (1:03pm)
  • Animal Control Officer removed a deceased turkey from Lowell Street. (2:20pm)
  • During a check of Yentile Farm, police advised parties using the playground of park hours and sent them on their way. (10:13pm)
