WILMINGTON, MA — Below are recent reminders from the Wilmington Recreation Department regarding an upcoming trip to see Aladdin at the Boston Opera House and the available spots in the popular Playground Program at Shawsheen Elementary School:

Last call! Reserve your tickets to attend the August 2 evening performance of ‘Aladdin’ at the Boston Opera House. Discover a whole new world filled with unforgettable beauty, magic and comedy where one lamp and three wishes make the possibilities infinite. This theater trip includes bus transportation and an orchestra seat. Cost is $120 per ticket.

Summer Playground Program
Have you made summer plans for your child that is entering Grades 2 – 8? Take a moment to consider the popular ‘Playground Program’ at the Shawsheen Elementary School! We still have limited number of available spots, so don’t wait too long to register!
This program offers children the freedom to make new friends and explore the many activities the staff have to offer on campus. Each day features several special activities that may interest your children such as World Cup Soccer, Paper Airplane Furthest Flyer competition, a Talent Show, and many more. Or they may choose to entertain themselves with popular favorites such as 4-square, wall ball, basketball, tag or a myriad of other daily activities. We also offer 4 optional field trips, for which details will be announced later.
