POLICE LOG for May 26: Fence On Fire; Mulch Fire; Kids Misbehaving On Train Tracks

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, May 26, 2018:

  • Police notified a vehicle parked oddly outside the police station. Operator was playing Pokemon Go. (3:16am)
  • A caller reported a fence on a Lowell Street property was on fire. Fire Department responded. (6:35am)
  • A resident reports a washing machine has been left on the sidewalk on Boutwell Street. (8:27am)
  • During a check of Town Beach, police noted a significant amount of trash by the picnic tables on Pond Street. Police notified DPW. (7:09pm)
  • Fire Department responded to a mulch fire in the Lucci’s parking lot. Fire was started by a cigarette. (7:33pm)
  • Police sent 6 high school kids playing basketball in the Woburn Street basketball court on their way. (9:45pm)
  • A Jacques Lane caller reported at least 10 kids on the train tracks behind her house yelling and swearing for over 10 minutes. Caller called back and siad neighbor went out and yelled at kids, who then left. (9:47pm)
