POLICE LOG for May 25: Vehicle Loses Tire; Highway Crash; Speeding Garbage Truck

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, May 25, 2018:

  • Police removed a deceased duck from Mink Run Road. (7:44am)
  • Vehicle lost its tire after striking a large rock that fell off a truck on Salem Street. (9:51am)
  • An off-duty officer observed Russell Disposal truck operating at a greater than reasonable speed on Chapman Avenue. Police notified DPW. (1:26pm)
  • State Police handled a 4-car crash prior to Exit 40 on 93 North. (1:59pm)
  • Administrator at CareOne reported a resident is alleging an occupational therapist ran over her foot with a wheelchair approximately three weeks ago. (4:24pm)
  • Police received a 911 call from Arlene Avenue. On call back, caller stated it was an accidental dial and they were trying to set up their iPhone. (7:55pm)
