Dear Editor,
My wife’s family are from Tewksbury, therefor, by proxy, I have been from Tewksbury since I married my wife. But now, having moved to our lovely town, I can say that my ships rise and fall, in large part, with the seas of Tewksbury.
I’ve had the privilege of knowing Erin Buckley for a handful of years; I can remember when she went back to college to begin her political journey and I remember when she graduated with the highest possible honors. I can recall when she got her job in the State House and I have a clear memory of her telling me, and some mutual friends, that she felt that moving to Tewksbury a decade ago changed her life, and that she planned on repaying that debt to the fullest. Well, here she is, doing her best to make payment.
She is intelligent, she is more than involved locally, and I don’t know anyone who can break down Beacon Hill like she can.
As a newly minted Tewksburian, let me say to my fellow townsfolk, without hesitation nor hyperbole: We must to send Erin Buckley to Beacon Hill. It is the future we need!
