WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, May 20, 2018:
- Police checked on a vehicle stopped in the roadway near the High School with its hazards on. The operator of this vehicle was playing Pokemon. He was advised to move to a safer location, out of the travel lane, while playing. Driver moved into the parking lot. (6:52am)
- A blue 2005 Toyota Prius struck the guardrail on 93 North ramp, onto Concord Street. No injuries noted. (7:20am)
- Fire deputy reported hydrant on the corner of Chestnut Street and Marion Street appears to have been struck overnight, requested Water Department take a look at it. (10:20am)
- A walk-in party reported his vehicle was stolen from Mill Road. (11:52am)
- A red 2011 Ford Edge struck a pole at Butters Row and Elizabeth Drive. Verizon notified. Airbag deployed. Driver refused medical attention. Vehicle towed. (5:42pm)
- A white 2016 Nissan Rogue struck a pole at Woburn Street and Great Neck Drive. Air deployed. Driver transported to Winchester Hospital. Mailbox damaged. Water Dept. and Verizon notified. DPW notified of vehicle fluid leaking into storm drain. (8:17pm)
