POLICE LOG for May 13: Dirtbike Complaints; Failure To Yield For Pedestrians In Crosswalk; Lost Wallet

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, May 13, 2018:

  • Resident concerned over retaliation after serving a tenant with an eviction notice. (9:47am)
  • A passerby reported a dirt bike on the Shawsheen soccer field. Police responded and spoke to a few people on the area, who claimed it was a motorcycle parked by the snack shack. Vehicle was gone prior to police arrival. (4:19pm)
  • A Meadowbrook Drive caller reported she just saw 4-5 dirt bikes riding into the woods behind her house. They cross through her property and she’s unsure of damage. It’s an ongoing issue. Police were unable to locate. (5:21pm)
  • An anonymous caller reported an ongoing issue with vehicles not yielding to pedestrians at a crosswalk on Woburn Street. (6:10pm)
  • A caller reported her son lost his wallet at CVS today between noon and 4pm. Black wallet contained drivers license, debit card and prom tickets. (7:06pm)
  • A resident reported receiving annoying text messages from an ex-boyfriend and ex-roomate. Police advised her of her 209A rights. (11:02pm)
