STATE REP RACE: Selectman Mike McCoy Submits Nomination Papers To Secretary Of State, Is Officially On The Ballot

WILMINGTON, MA — It’s official!  On Monday May 14, 2018 at 3:30pm, Wilmington Selectman Michael McCoy submitted his nomination papers to the Secretary of State’s Office’s Election Division.

Selectman Michael McCoy was the last candidate to take out and the first candidate to submit nomination papers to the Wilmington Town Clerk’s office.

Between Tewksbury and Wilmington, Selectman McCoy received 662 signatures, even though only 150 certified signatures were required.

Selectman McCoy will be on the state primary ballot on September 4, 2018 as a candidate of the Democratic party for State Representative of the 19th Middlesex District, which represents most of Tewksbury and Wilmington.

Selectman McCoy is currently serving his 28th year on the Wilmington Board of Selectmen.

  1. It would be fitting to continue his uncle’s legacy but I pray we get a replacement Selectman who cares about Wilmington residents and not another shill for builders.
