WILMINGTON, MA — The WHS Girls Varsity Tennis Team lost to Burlington High, 4-1, on Wednesday, May 9 in Burlington.
- Wilmington junior Emily Hill was defeated by Madison Metzdorf, 6-1, 6-1.
- Wilmington junior Lia Kourkoutas was defeated by Arya Bhat, 6-2, 6-1.
- Wilmington sophomore Carolyn Roney defeated Liz Gillespie, 7-6, 6-4.
- Wilmington junior Jessica D’Arco and senior Krista Brown were defeated by Jessica Abrevaya and Alexandria Fioya, 6-1, 6-1.
- Wilmington seniors Jill Roche and Lauren Field were defeated by Niti Seereeram and Madison McDonald, 7-6, 6-3.
The WHS Girls Varsity Tennis Team also lost to Belmont High, 3-2, on Thursday, May 10 in Wilmington.
- Wilmington junior Emily Hill defeated Caroline Dustin, 6-2, 6-2.
- Wilmington junior Lia Kourkoutas was defeated by Julia Logan, 7-6, 6-0.
- Wilmington sophomore Carolyn Roney defeated Simona Casale, 6-1, 6-2.
- Wilmington junior Jessica D’Arco and senior Krista Brown were defeated by Eliza Jones and Izzy Lefebrve, 6-0, 6-0.
- Wilmington seniors Jill Roche and Lauren Field were defeated by Cassie Wang and Julie Choi, 6-4, 7-5.
