WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, May 8, 2018:
- A caller on Ballardale Street reported a co-worker assaulted him. He was chest bumped and head butted. Caller declined an ambulance. (1:43am)
- Police notified DPW that water gate near hydrant on Lowell Street is missing. (8:51am)
- 2 tractor trailer units were involved in a crash on Salem Street. One truck was on fire. DEP and Mass State Police Truck Team were notified. Police issued summons to Robert J. Miranda (63, Boston) for Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle, Marked Lanes Violation, and Failure To Stop/Yield. (11:31am)
- Police issued citations for vehicles parked in the fire lane at Town Hall. (5:36pm)
- A Beacon Street resident reported cars frequently speed on the road during rush hour. Caller requested traffic enforcement. (5:47pm)
- A Salem Street resident reported a raccoon has come to her porch and up to her sliding door last couple of days. She then witnesses the raccoon leave her porch and walk onto her neighbor’s. She is concerned someone may be feeding it. (6:10pm)
- Alex Kittredge (30, Wilmington) was arrested for Trespassing on railroad property. Amandee Hoctor (22, Wakefield) was taken into protective custody. (9:15pm)
