METHUEN, MA — Glenn J. Steeves III, 65, of Methuen, passed away suddenly on May 3, 2018. Born in Wilmington, Mass., on December 31, 1952, to the late Glenn J. Steeves and Jennie M. Davis.
Glenn was a selfless and devoted family man, who had a love for life’s simpler pleasures. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and collecting many different things. Glenn worked as a custodian for Methuen High School for well over 20 years until his retirement. Glenn touched many lives in many different circles and he will fondly be cherished, loved and missed.
Glenn is survived by his beloved daughter, Tiffany Schinas and her husband Alexander, of Leominster, Mass. He was the proud grandfather to his two cherished grandchildren, Julian and Aubrey. Glenn is also survived by his two brothers, John Steeves of Lawrence, and Gerald Steeves of Andover. He is also survived by his three sisters, Maureen Steeves of Hudson, N.H., Helen Steeves of Nashua, N.H., and Chara Ruggiero of Ashland, N.H. Glenn is also survived by his beloved companion of many years, his dog, Reese.
Visitation for Glenn was held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence, Street, Methuen. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend. A funeral service was held at the conclusion of calling hours at the funeral home. To honor Glenn’s wishes, interment will be privately held.
