POLICE LOG for April 29: Driver Issued Summons; Street Sign Stolen; Cops Called On Group Of Teens Twice

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, April 29, 2018:

  • Police notified DPW that the bolder has been pushed onto the asphalt between the two pylons at the emergency entrance at Yentile Farm Recreational Facility. There appeared to be damage to the asphalt. (10:06am)
  • A caller reported three teenagers were throwing metal bars towards the vacant Sonic building. Police responded and deemed the call unfounded. Police did, however, notify property manager to remove a cement filled metal post on the ground. (1:15pm)
  • Police notified DPW to take a look at a fallen tree leaning on another tree in the wetlands on Jaques Lane. (2:08pm)
  • A caller reported a group of people under the Richmond Street bridge screaming. Police responded. Group of people were the same teenagers at Sonic earlier. They were advised not to trespass on railroad property and to not trespass on Sonic’s property as a no trespass sign is posted there. (2:25pm)
  • Police notified Mass Highway of a large pot hole next to storm drain on Route 125/Andover Street. (6:40pm)
  • Michael Gonzalez (26, Haverhill) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Revoked or Suspended License and Unregistered Motor Vehicle. (9:49pm)
  • Police notified DPW that the street sign and pole for Dana Court is missing. (10:04pm)
