POLICE LOG for April 14: Warrant Arrest; Intoxicated Customer Threatens Staff

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, April 14, 2018:

  • Police investigated suspicious activity on Grove Avenue. A dark SUV was seen driving down the “Leaky Lane” path towards the railroad tracks. Vehicle had long firearm cases in the back. Police observed party walking the train tracks. Keolis held the trains as police searched for party. No further info. (12:09am)
  • Kristian Xherimeja (18, Saugas) was arrested on a Warrant; Operating A Motor Vehicle with a Suspended or Revoked License; and No or Inspired Inspection Sticker. Xherimeja was pulled over on Lowell Street. (1:21am)
  • Resident brought ammunition to station for destruction. (1:29pm)
  • A customer reported to Market Basket employee that an older male appeared to be looking into vehicles in the parking lot. Police reviewed security footage. Elderly man attempted to open a car’s door, then walked to another row of cars and got into a similar looking car. Checked OK. (8:23pm)
  • Rebecca V. Maynard (28, Methuen) was taken into protective custody. Police responded after resident requested officer check on a car parked at the end of her driveway for an extended period. (10:37pm)
  • A calling party from K1 Speed on Fordham Road stated a rider threatened an employee as he was being removed from the premises due to being under the influence. (11:03pm)
