POLICE LOG for April 13: Warrant Arrest; Syringe Found; Truck Vandalized; Lost Wallet

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, April 13, 2018:

  • Thomas J. Mustone (40, Stoneham) was arrested on warrants. Mustone was pulled over on the 93 South Exit 39 off-ramp. (8:59am)
  • A caller reported a small silver sedan pulled into the Boutwell School parking lot. 2 parties appeared to be looking into teacher vehicles and left when approached. Police responded, but were unable to locate vehicle. (10:44am)
  • Police received report of theft from the town dog park. Police advised caller that any equipment left behind would be considered abandoned property. Police instructed caller not to leave anything purposely behind at dog park. (11:56am)
  • A caller reported she lost her white Coach wallet at Panera Bread around 1:15pm this afternoon. (2:57pm)
  • A caller reported a syringe along the side of the road on Cunningham Street. Police retrieved syringe for disposal. (4:43pm)
  • A customer entered Custom Stitch on Jefferson Road after the business closed to pick up dress. Door was open, but store was empty. Customer called police. Police contacted store owner, who returned to store and completed transaction with customer, then properly secured door. (5:33pm)
  • Rocco’s employee reported a waitress was not acting like herself, stated she had to go home, and took off with money from the restaurant. Police contacted Woburn Police. Police unable to locate waitress. Several messages left for waitress on her phone. (8:10pm)
  • An anonymous caller reported a vehicle being vandalized in the driveway of a home at the intersection of Clark Street and Church Street. Police confirmed vandalism to both truck mirrors. No one home at time. Suspect described as heavy set male operating a white Dodge Durango. (11:05pm)
