POLICE LOG for April 5: Woman Arrested For Allegedly Shoplifting Red Sox Sweatshirts; Tree Falls Onto House Causing Hole In Roof

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, April 5, 2018:

  • A tree fell into a house on Pearl Court. Hole in roof. Wire down in backyard. No occupants injured. Tree was possibly a town-owned tree. DPW and RMLD notified. (1:00am)
  • A tree fell down, blocking the entire road on Woburn Street. A green recycling bin was damaged due to the fall. Nearby homeowner was advised to sleep in a different room for the night due to noise of tree removal. Tree Department removed tree. (2:06am)
  • A Kiernan Avenue caller reported a squirrel loose in her basement. (4:18pm)
  • Kimberly Ann Davis (42, Danvers) was arrested for Shoplifting By Asportation (3rd Offense). Employee at Olympia Sports reported David allegedly stole two Red Sox sweatshirts and left store. Police pulled Davis’s car over on Main Street. (7:07pm)
