POLICE LOG for March 31: Bottles Thrown At House; Bad Crash; Politics Gets Heated

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, March 31, 2018:

  • A Lawrence Street resident reports bottles appear to have been thrown at house. Caller would like to speak to an officer. (8:04am)
  • Police received report of a male operator of a red 2014 Chevy Silverado yelling at a party holding a political sign on Main Street. Police spoke with caller, but were unable to locate operator. (10:39am)
  • Police assisted with a vehicle lockout at Design By Don on Lowell Street. (11:30am)
  • A gray 2015 Mercedes SE and a gray 2009 Honda CRV were involved in a crash at Main Street and Mass Avenue. Air deployed. Both vehicles towed. Occupants of CRV transported to Lahey Clinic. (7:42pm)
  • A Middlesex Avenue resident reported witnessing an unfamiliar male party approach her front door as she left to walk her dog. Man said he was lost and asked for directions to the Woburn St. School. Caller described male as late teens, black hoodie, carrying a skateboard. Police unable to locate. (8:30pm)
  • Employee of Winchester Family Medical Center on Salem Street reported two older male parties in a sedan in lot for an extended period of time. Police responded. Vehicle is dead and AAA just arrived. (8:44pm)
  • Police received report of an erratic operator on Main Street. Police pulled over. Operator passed a sobriety test. Operator stated he was operating his phone while driving. Police issued a citation for marked lanes and impeded operation. (11:28pm)
