POLICE LOG for March 28: Wilmington Man Arrested on Warrant; Car vs. Pole; Sick Dog; Baby Inside Dog Park

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, March 28, 2018:

  • A brown 2012 Honda 4D crashed into a pole on Andover Street. Airbag deployed. No injuries noted. Vehicle towed. RMLD notified. Field sobriety test passed. (2:48am)
  • A caller reported he observed a dog in rough shape being walked down Concord Street by owner. Dog appeared injured and bloody. Animal Control Officer responded. Dog is suffering from various conditions and old age. Owner is waiting for family arrive to have dog euthanized. (9:40am)
  • Thomas Ackles (30, Wilmington) was arrested on two warrants regarding unlicensed operation of motor vehicle, no inspection sticker, and lights violation. (10:45am)
  • Animal Control Officer responded to report of a baby inside the dog park. Parties left. (12:02pm)
  • A caller reported males in a dark colored Volkswagen appear to be huffing a substance from a tank in Rite Aid parking lot. Police unable to locate. (2:16pm)
