POLICE LOG for March 27: Intoxicated Man Taken Into Custody; Possible Drug Deal; Syringe Found

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, March 27, 2018:

  • A walk-in party turned in a purse found in the Town Center, intersection of Route 38 and 62. Station officer notified owner, who eventually retrieved. (1:33pm)
  • A caller reported a dirt bike was operating erratically on North Street. Police advised the operator of the bylaws and sent him on his way. (2:40pm)
  • A Faulkner Avenue resident reported finding a syringe on the side of the road. Police retrieved for proper disposal. (5:16pm)
  • A caller at Speedway claimed there was a drug deal in progress involving a gold car, but then hung up. Police responded, but there were no vehicles matching the description. (7:18pm)
  • Brian Kirkpatrick (Tewksbury, 61) was taken into protective custody after reports of an intoxicated man causing a disturbance at CVS on Main Street. (11:47pm)
