POLICE LOG for March 24: Tenants Urinating Off Of Balcony; Erratic Operator; Warrant Arrest

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, March 24, 2018:

  • A walk-in party reported a catch basin at Federal Street and Grant Street has collapsed. (8:10am)
  • Police arrested John Amaro Gearty (31, Cambridge) was arrested on a probation warrant. Gearty had previously been taken into protective custody. (11:52am)
  • Police received a report that a furniture delivery was blocking Aldrich Road. Police responded and vehicle was moved. (1:18pm)
  • Tewksbury Police notified Wilmington Police of an erratic operator crossing the double yellow lines multiple times headed southbound towards Wilmington on Route 38. Police pulled over vehicle. Driver was headed to work and just a little tired. (9:48pm)
  • An Evergreen Drive caller reported residents of the apartment above her are urinating and spitting off the balcony. Caller also reported they were calling her mother names. Police noted this has been an ongoing issue with the tenants. (10:40pm)
