POLICE LOG for March 19: Car vs. Snowbank; Woburn St. Potholes Cause Damage; Troubles On The Road

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, March 19, 2018:

  • A gray 2012 Honda Civic and a red 2015 Honda CRV were involved in a crash at Church Street and Beacon Street. No injuries noted. Airbags deployed. Both vehicles towed. (7:47am)
  • A black 2003 Nissan Maxima drove into a snowbank on Park Street. Vehicle swerved to avoid another cut that cut it off. Tow truck was able to get the vehicle out of the snowbank. (8:17am)
  • Reading Police reported a mail truck left gas station with hose still attached, dragging behind the vehicle on West Street. Mail truck was located and sent back to gas station. (10:37am)
  • Two large potholes on Woburn Street called damage to a caller’s vehicle. Police notified DPW. (6:08pm)
  • A wooden pallet fell of a truck at the intersection of West Street and Industrial Way. Police moved it out of the way of traffic and notified DPW. (8:58pm)
  • Alexa Whalen (24, Wilmington) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Revoked Or Suspended License. (9:42pm)
  • Police notified DPW that the street sign for Pleasant Road was knocked over by plows. (9:56pm)
