POLICE LOG for March 17: Vehicles Egged; Raccoon Stuck In Chimney; Hit & Run At Elia’s; Car vs. Tree

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, March 17, 2018:

  • A Gorham Street caller requested extra patrols in the area due to vehicle and neighbor’s vehicles being egged sometime since yesterday. (10:26am)
  • A Mystic Avenue caller reported water leaking into the basement and requested the on-call water department. (11:41am)
  • A Water Street caller reported a raccoon was living inside her chimney. Animal Control Officer responded. (2:19pm)
  • A hit and run in the Elia’s Country Store parking lot was called in by a witness. (2:57pm)
  • A sister stated that her brother is at the house and has warrants and would like him picked up. Police responded and placed him in custody. (5:37pm)
  • A Marion Street caller reported a vehicle drove over her lawn, struck a tree and took off. Vehicle’s license plate and bumper were left behind on lawn. Police were unable to locate vehicle. (7:38pm)
