POLICE LOG for March 9: Storm Causes Road Hazards For School Buses; Small Fire at Burger King; Altercation At CVS

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, March 9, 2018:

  • Wilmington Police contacted North Reading Transportation regarding road hazards and traffic concerns (e.g., low wires, downed branches, impassable roads, etc.) for bus routes. (1:27am)
  • Police issued a parking citation on North Street for an overnight parking ban violation. (2:28am)
  • Fire Department responded to a power line on fire on State Street. (6:06am)
  • Caller reported a package was said to delivered on March 1, but he never received it. (8:04am)
  • Fire Department respond to fire at Burger King in a rooftop AC unit. (10:54am)
  • A resident reported a suspicious exchange between operators of two dark sedans on Henry L. Drive. Caller was unable to describe operators. (3:56pm)
  • A CVS Pharmacy Tech reported a verbal altercation between customer and cashier. Police responded. Man was upset over photos. He was told not to return to the store tonight and to follow-up with manager tomorrow. (6:23pm)
