WILMINGTON, MA – The Middlesex Canal Association will hold its Spring Canal Walk on Sunday, April 22, from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.
Participants are encouraged to meet at 1:30pm at the Wilmington Town Park across from 760 Main Street (Route 38).
The Appalachian Mountain Club and the Middlesex Canal Association will host the 8/10th of a mile walk along a section of the historic Middlesex Canal. Points of interest along the route will include the Ox Bow Turn; the 14-acre tract gifted to the Middlesex Canal Association by Stanley Webber and Julia Ann Fielding; and Patches Pond.
Middlesex Canal Association member Robert Winters will lead the walk.
