POLICE LOG for March 7: Car Accident Causes Damage To Vehicles In Car Dealership Lot; Attempted Home Break-In

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, March 7, 2018:

  • Police received report that a dog bite took place at the Dog Town Park at 4:30pm on Tuesday. (7:35am)
  • A caller reported two separate incidents where a vehicle did not stop for a school bus on Loumac Road. (9:51am)
  • Police responded to a burglar alarm at a Federal Street home and confirmed an attempted breaking & entering. Lock on the door was damage. Homeowner had security video of a male party approaching the door. (2:58pm)
  • Police received complaint about an abrupt/rude solicitor from Comcast. Solicitor was advised to check in with police before soliciting. (3:23pm)
  • Police notified DPW that a street sign and post were missing at Miles Street and Main Street. (5:13pm)
  • A car struck a pole on Main Street. Multiple vehicles in the Cornerstone dealership was damaged, as well as a tree and fire hydrant. Mass Highway notified to remove tree, which was partially in roadway. (9:29pm)
