POLICE LOG for March 5: Fight At Gas Station; Kids On Tracks; 3 Summons Issued; 1 Warrant Arrest

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, March 5, 2018:

  • Police issued summons to Claudio Willian De Souza Cotait (38, Lowell) and Guilherme Cunha Padilha (28, Lowell). Police responded to two men fighting in the parking lot at Sonny’s Mobil on the Run. (12:59am)
  • Police arrested Marcelo Vieceli (37, Lowell) on a warrant. (1:29am)
  • A Glenview Road caller reported she believes someone is in her house. She can hear water running upstairs. Police conducted a walkthrough with the homeowner. Situation checks okay. Noise may have been caused by pet cat. (7:16am)
  • Manager at Dunkin Donuts at Ballardvale Street reported an unruly customer causing disturbance. Police responded and found disturbance to be unfounded. (7:52am)
  • A caller reported a Boutwell School employee found a surgical glove with something inside it on the playground. Police responded. Glove contained sticks and has been disposed of. (1:34pm)
  • Police spoke to three middle school youths who were walking on the train tracks near Bridge Lane. (3:01pm)
  • Lisa M. Thomas (36, Wilmington) was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. (3:33pm)
  • A vehicle struck a dog at Burlington Avenue and Dell Drive. Neighbor brought dog to hospital. Vehicle towed. (7:28pm)
