POLICE LOG for March 4: Alleged Assault Inside Ristuccia Arena; Needles Found In 2 Areas Around Town

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, March 4, 2018:

  • Police responded with Tewksbury Police to a loud party on Lakeview Avenue and Bay State Road in Tewksbury. Music was turned down. (1:56am)
  • A calle reported a blue 2014 Hyundai Sonata was operating a high rate of speed, brake checking, tailgating and running red light on Main Street. Police spoke with operator and sent him on his way. (10:20am)
  • Police retrieved needles from the Harvard Avenue area. (11:49am)
  • A caller reported two hypodermic needles on the sidewalk of Burlington Avenue. Police retrieved for disposal. (12:20pm)
  • A caller reported he was assaulted by another male party inside Ristuccia Memorial Arena, near the Pro Shop. Caller said male party is currently in the parking lot. Police responded. (1:46pm)
