POLICE LOG for February 25: Lots Of False Alarms; Hit & Run Confirmed

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, February 25, 2018:

  • Police received a mistaken 911 call from a resident at CareOne at Wilmington. (10:14am)
  • Police issued an operator a written warning for an unregistered vehicle. Vehicle was towed from Middlesex Avenue. (11:29am)
  • Police received panic alarm from Winchester Family Medical Center. False alarm. (3:47pm)
  • Police received an abandoned 911 call from Senior Center/Fourth of July Building area. Police checked area and found building secure. (5:45pm)
  • A 911 caller reported a dispute between her and her husband over child custody drop-off times. When asked if she feels her children are endangered, caller said no. Caller was advised it was not a police matter, but a court matter. (7:30pm)
  • Woburn Police requested an officer respond to check on damage on a trailer at All Access Equipment on Woburn Street. Police confirmed hit & run property damage. Initial crash took place in Woburn. Charges to be handled by the State Police. (8:59pm)
