POLICE LOG for February 13: Resident Calls Police Because TV Isn’t Working; iPad Stolen From Child; Basement Animal

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, February 13, 2018:

  • A West Intermediate student lost a pink iPhone 7 sometime last week. Wanted the incident logged. (10:01am)
  • A Presidential Drive caller reporting she came home and heard someone leaving her home. Caller thinks they went out the back door. Police responded. Situation checked OK. (1:23pm)
  • A Beacon Street resident reported there’s an animal in her basement. Animal Control Officer responded and found indications of an animal. Officer will return with traps tomorrow. (3:06pm)
  • John Amaro Geatry (30, Cambridge) was taken into protective custody. Police received report of a high school-age male stumbling around the tennis court area near the Boutwell School. Police located the male laying on the ground in front of a Boutwell Street house. (3:54pm)
  • A 3-vehicle crash occurred on the 93 North Exit 39 ramp. Two vehicles towed. Operator of tractor trailer issued a citation for a red right violation. (4:59pm)
  • A Westdale Avenue caller wanted it logged that her TV is not working correctly. Police advised her to contact Verizon. (7:38pm)
  • A caller reported he believes his son’s iPad was taken out of a carriage earlier at CVS. Police reviewed surveillance footage. iPad was taken by a black male driving a minivan. (9:03pm)
