WILMINGTON, MA — On Thursday morning, six Wilmington High School seniors participated in a National Letter of Intent Signing Day ceremony.
“We recognize 6 WHS students for continuing their academic and athletic careers at NCAA Division 1 or Division 2 colleges and universities,” announced Wilmington Athletic Director Tim Alberts. “Just 3% of high school students – nationwide – go on to play at Division 1 or Division 2 level. This is a great achievement and it’s just the beginning for these six students”
- Danny Gracia signed to play Baseball at Franklin Pierce
- Liz Gordon signed to play Soccer at Merrimack College
- Dana Goulet signed to play Soccer at Bentley University
- Tyler Roberts signed to play Football at Merrimack College
- Graham Smith signed to play Baseball at Franklin Pierce
- Olivia Wingate signed to play Soccer at Notre Dame
Wilmington Community Television was on hand to capture the ceremony, which included remarks from each of the six student athletes.
