POLICE LOG for February 3: Coyote Sighting; Lost, Stolen & Found Wallets; Street Sign Missing

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, February 3, 2018:

  • Police notified DPW that the street sight for Lawrence Court was missing. (3:01am)
  • A caller reported a disabled motor vehicle was blocking the Starbucks driveway exit. Police responded. AAA was en route. (7:13am)
  • Police removed a deceased black long haired cat (no chip) near Firestone on Main Street. (7:50am)
  • A walk-in party located a brown leather wallet in the Church St. area. (9:27am)
  • A caller reported two coyotes in the Freeport Drive area. They don’t appear sick or injured. (11:14am)
  • A caller reported her wallet was taken from her purse.  While on the phone, they found her wallet in the salon, but the cash was missing. (2:29pm)
  • Lucci’s Supermarket reported a female party shoplifted about 10 minutes ago. She left in a BMW in an unknown direction. Police were unable to locate. (5:41pm)
  • A party lost his wallet containing approximately $600 cash, his license and credit cards between 3:30pm and 3:50pm, possibly outside of Cumberland Farms. Party contacted Cumberland Farms to check surveillance footage, but only supervisor can access and they’ll be in tomorrow. (7:54pm)
