WILMINGTON, MA — Ingred M. (Borgeson) Rooney, age 98, of Wilmington, passed away on February 2, 2018.
Ingred was the beloved wife of the late Walter A. Rooney, devoted mother of Lorraine Suttie of Burlington, Walter H. Rooney of Lowell and Cheryl Varey & her husband Bob of Wilmington, loving “Grammy” of Doreen McDonald, John Suttie, Walter Varey & his wife Marissa, Robert Varey, Marlene Maher & her husband Mike and Corinne Morgan & her husband Paul, 9 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren, cherished daughter of the late John and Esther (Backman) Borgeson, dear sister of the late Harold Borgeson, Carl Borgeson, Virginia Hogan and Lillian Proctor.
Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Service at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Wednesday, February 7th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 6th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
